On this day I did send a missive by mine own man vnto the Lady Deonysia of Rye that I might know of her how to send forth the inks she did contract with me to make, but hearing nothing in return, I did place the bottles where they might be found and hied vnto the Earle's Chancery. Vpon my return I was most pressing disturbed that the so ordered inks lay still in their sheleterd hole. I know not how I must fulfill this contract, having heard no word of the lady's pleasure in this matter.

her chronicle
This is both a research project and an experiment in creating a diary in the style of a Tudor-era woman. Research notes are usually found here, and my primary journal is here.
